With this ongoing increase ofthe IT domain, the antenna has to evolve as welltoward smarter array systems to decrease thecomputational complexity especially at the userterminal (eNodeB). The current paper investigatessome affordable yet efficient techniques that couldsuppress the side lobes for an array of eight elements,operating an advanced LTE base station. In thisrespect, a set of MATLAB functions computing theweighting coefficients and deliver their values (as RFgains) to the HFSS modeler for a more realisticevaluation.
